Tunebite provides quad-speed-recording & digital quality support. Rerecords & converts legally protected WMA, M4P, AAC, MP3. Automatically records with quad-speed copy-protected music while it is being played on the PC. Automatically saves recordings in unprotected, digital quality MP3, OGG, AND WMA formats.

That is awesome! I buy all of my music in protected WMA format from MSN Music, but I hate DRM. What I have been doing is burning the WMA files to CD through Windows Media Player, and then ripping the recorded CD back to unprotected MP3 with Exact Audio Copy and Lame. I just downloaded this program and it works like a charm, even on WMP 10 files. It will save me countless hours of trouble on my quest to live a DRM-free life. Thanks for the tip! :yay:

No. You would have to use a program like Total Recorder, which uses a virtual sound card driver to record exactly what you hear, even unintended Windows system sounds, etc. I don't know how Tunebite works, but it only converts the audio file, so you can continue to use your computer without having to worry about accidentally recording your new mail notification sound or other unintended sounds.
