The turkey shoots return at the 7th District Optimist Club ball park on Sunday November 15th, 2009, at Noon. Same as last year, prize and money rounds all afternoon, as well as junior shoots if enough participants are there. Oyster scald, chili and cold beer all afternoon. Second one is scheduled for December 13th, same time and place.

Rules & Regulations

1. All guns must be 12 gauge
2. 20 gauge shell must fit thru the barrel All guns will be checked
3. No barrel’s over 32inches
4. Your gun may be checked more than once
5. All shooters must be on line at the time of shoot
6. If there is a tie in targets, there will be a shoot off
7. If you shoot someone else’s target it will be grounds for your disqualification.
8. Anyone who is caught cheating will lose all prize(s) they have won
9. There are no refunds for any reason
10. No Tri-pod stands
11. No Scopes Allowed
12. You Are Responsible For Your Gun

We will also be selling raffle tickets for a chance to win a Remington 11-87 or a CVA .50 cal Blackpowder rifle. Chances are $10 a piece.

To get to the ballpark:
Rt 5 (Point Lookout Rd) to Rt 234 (Budds Creek Rd)
Rt 234 to Rt 242 (Colton's Point Rd) Head towards St. Clement's Island Museum
Ballpark will be on your LEFT one mile past Capt. Sam's.

Sounds like the same rules of any other Turky Shoot that I have been to. :shrug:
