Turn signal question

You know we all are. I'm just glad you take pity on us though and even ride with folks with any kind of bikes. (especially the ones that look cute going over bumps)

:sigh:

I love sitting at a stop sign watching a cutie jiggling to the cadence of a Harley motor......

Speaking of which.... where's 1bdz been lately?

She is around. Just busy and tired of the forums. Like a lot of people, I think. Been trying to get her out for a ride, but no luck so far. I will not give up and will let you know.

Do you also think all motorcycles come factory equipped with an illegally loud exhaust system?

Aftermarket or not was not my point. (I can't speak for others but mine is within legal limits.) Like I said in previous posts, Gold Wings and the like have never been my thing. If I am not attracted to a machine, I do not pay any attention to them. I have heard many a bike (HD and others) that are outside of the legal limits similarly the bikes that I come across that are full of lights are Dresser styles, I like the Dressers just not all of the things that adorn them like lighting and tassels. I agree that they make one seen at night but at what point does it go from a safety matter to a distraction to already distracted drivers? My point in the end - To each their own! Keep the shiny side up.

Ok, but it was new to me and different than any bike I'd ever been on.

You must have forgetten that you rode mine a while back....

oh wait.....you didn't drive it, you just rode :giggle:

*ahem*

GoldWing. Self-cancelling since at least 1982. Along with adjustable air ride and cup holders.

:plush:

You forgot the ever white tennis shoes :lmao:

I have never timed my signal, but it seems to stay on for about 30 seconds until it turns itself off at a light and after gentle wide turns where it does not turn itself off right after the turn.

They also self-cancel in 30 seconds if you change lanes and forget....it a built in feature of Harley to maintain the coolness of the driver

I admit that the Gold Wings have various comforts built into them, however I have never been interested in riding anything that looks like a Christmas Tree floating down the road when operated at night.

Aftermarket or not was not my point.

Don't know what you meant, only what you said.
Your comment concerned owner lighting modifications, not the type

Look back to page 2 of this thread. GWguy thought that I was downing his ride after mentioning bike lighting. It just went from there. No harm, no foul. I ride with any other motorcycle that will join me.

I bowl overhand
Hadn't seen that style. Has to be confusing at first.

BMW has the turn signal switch on the left and right, and the cancellation switch on the right.

Push both and you get the 4 ways..

New BMWs are going to the Japanese switch configuration. All turn signal switches in one cluster on the right..

Fair warning...if you ride with GW, don't stare directly at his bike....the glare from his shoes will blind you :killingme

Hmm, the image that comes to my mind after seeing some of your other posts suggests to me that he should be riding in Florida.
