Think they're Eastern Painted Turtles. They sure look like it!

Great pics! And definitely Eastern Painted turtles. I have 2 of them a little smaller than that and a red eared slider I bought 20 years ago. I had no idea they'd live so long. :shrug:

There were probably 15-20 of them on that log. Next time I'll come in from a different direction and be sneakier.
