Ubi bene ibi patria
"HATTIESBURG — The history of the Tuskegee Airmen will forever have a place in the halls of some the nation’s most prestigious military museums, thanks to a McComb native who now calls Hattiesburg home.

Clint Martin, 68, learned during the summer that his original artworks will be displayed in the Pentagon, the National Museum of the United States Air Force at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio, and the Mississippi Museum of Art.

He also is applying to have them displayed in the Smithsonian Institution in Washington and the National D-Day Museum in New Orleans."

USAF Maj. Gen. Lucius

Maj. Gen. Lucius Theus
The résumé of retired Maj. Gen. Lucius Theus, a 36-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force, was as impressive as it was long. During a distinguished military career, he was a training officer with America's famed Tuskegee Airmen and a base commander at Cam Ranh Bay in Vietnam and held several top administrative posts at the Pentagon. He also became one of the first African-American officers to be appointed general officer in the Air Force.
