Two Beautiful Labs @ TriCounty

Do you know anyone missing their two beautiful, obviously pure bred labs? One is chocolate the other black--most likely litter mates, and definitely bonded. I can't imagine someone wouldn't realize these two pups are missing!!

One has an "adoption hold" if the owner doesn't show. The other one is not adopted yet. Breaks my heart to think they'll be split (they're sharing the same kennel right now, too).

They were picked up in the Callaway area....sure would love to see them go home..poor things.

Not to mention the 12 year old yellow lab. How do you not notice your 12 year old lab is missing?! Poor thing somehow found a way to sleep through the barking chaos there. Don't know where this girl was picked up, but I know she would definitely love to go home!

Last time I walkef through there were a lot more dogs there. They doing pretty good if they only have three labs!!

Seriously though. They were likely abandoned, seeing a lot of that these days. Its a shame.

Don't get me wrong, still have a TON of dogs there--some are doubled up in kennels. They're even having a "valentine's special"--dogs are $45, cats are $25 (down from the usual $85) to entice people to adopt.

so sad if someone just let these dogs go to roam and up where they end up. they are in great shape, and look to be well taken care of. Hope it's not a situation of someone gone on vacation, etc.

There was a posting on SOMD.com lost/found pets. I called that person, and they found their labs. Which is great!

Hoping these find their way home, too :)

I was just being a wiseass, sorry. Anyone who bothers to read your username is going to expect you to notice labs more than the others, :lmao:

Me? It's just a shame they never have any nice Dobermanns... or a good thing, as I'd have tons of them if they did. Damned dogs are like 'tater chips to me. :lmao:

I really hope they don't get split up...my two labs are litter mates, and they are also bestfriends. I couldn't imagine if they got split up, they would be heartbroken. If I could take those babies, I would, but I have my hands full w/my two labs! I hope someone adopts both of them...makes me soo sad to think about :(

I have noticed that Tri county is taking much better pictures of the animals up for adoption. I've been looking for another dog so I've been watching petfinder, and I've noticed the difference, the pictures are a huge improvement.

bhahahah. Yea, so I like labs? And pits, and newfs, and...yeah the list goes on and on..I was just in a pinch to pick a name when I was first posting about Hemi on here. Don't make fun of me before I've had my coffee, my retorts are totally weak :coffee:

I mean, they have all kinds of dogs there--unfortunately the super cute puppies are mixed with pit, so they'll only go to a rescue. ...time for another cup!

you and me both!! i told my husband we should've bought a farm, instead of just an acre or two--if I had the room, they'd be home with us already :)

Last time I was in there (3-4 weeks ago), they had a mini-Dobermann. Chubby little guy!

:jameo:

You mean a MinPin? Miniature Pinscher. They are about as much a miniature Doberman as a guppy is a minature Swordfish, LOL.

They are actually bred down from italian greyhounds and dachsunds, :lmao:

You'd be suprised how many people believe they are actually miniature Dobermanns... I get very defensive about that, :roflmao:

So anyway don't feel too bad... at least you've never seen me out walking my dogs and commented "Hey! Nice 'rock-wilers'! :lmao:
