They've been found! From Ridge FD:

Both boys have been found alive in Westmoreland County, VA. Search operations have been stopped at this time. Thank you to all the volunteers that came out and donated time and food.

UPDATE: Both Missing Boys From Ridge Found Safe and Unharmed in Virginia

Police have identified the missing brothers as Jesse Oleg Clark, 13, and Josiah Vladimir Clark, 15. Both of Ridge, Maryland.

Wow. Love the outcome. My kids and friends still go trekking out of our island compound in canoes and kayaks filled with camping equipment and supplies. My youngest son (now 24) was following this story with a keen interest...I could not help but remind him of my concerns for his being prepared back then,,,
