U.S. judge strikes down USDA rule on food benefits during pandemic

(Reuters) - A U.S. federal judge has struck down a Trump administration rule that would have cut food stamp benefits to almost 700,000 unemployed Americans amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, court documents showed.

In the midst of a pandemic and roughly 8% unemployment, the Trump Administration wants to cut food assistance to the poor and unemployed?

Hmm...wonder how well that story plays in the heartland?

It's funny how the vast majority of kicks in the nuts this administration receives have been because of their utter incompetence with respect to administrative law. All that's required is a modicum of effort to demonstrate you're trying to follow procedures. These dummies just make it up as they go along.

You get the government for which you ask.
