Maryland's coronavirus tests from South Korea being validated by 2 private labs
The WBAL-TV 11 News I-team is learning new details about the status of the big batch of coronavirus tests Maryland bought from South Korea.

The other lab is in the process of studies to make sure LabGenomics' tests are compatible with its process and equipment, which could take weeks to complete.

I hate to think this about our Governor, and I am sure he had good intentions when getting these things, but------
For some reason he just couldn't just get the tests and let it go at that.
He had to take a shot at Trump saying he got them and had to sneak them in to protect us from that horrible federal government under Trump, had to place them under guard at a hidden facility all to send his hate message against the President. I got them and you couldn't was a part of that.
I don't know why a person who claims to be Republican hates the President so badly, but it is one of the major problems I have with Hogan.
Shouldn't that work the other way as well? President Trump said that states need to go out and get PPE on their own if they can, and the federal government will assist them if they need it. Hogan went out and did that, and Trump took a shot at him.
Because Hogan grandstanded about it, "Oh, see me getting stuff that my mortal enemy the President of the United States can't?See me being all buddy buddy with the South Korean government? I'm like totally presidential and chit!"
So now he gets to nom out on a sh!t sandwich.
The idea was for Governors to, you know, govern their states and not sit on their dead ass trying to pass the buck to the Fed and pretend it's Trump's fault their state sucks. Other states are quietly doing their thing; Hogan had to make like it's a big deal for him to do for Maryland, and then took a shot at Trump just because he's a douche like that. I am figuratively laughing in his fat corrupt ugly face.
But he did make me wonder about Yummy Hogan. What's so special about her that she has an in with the SK government? Does every Korean living in the US have that same access, or is there something we should know about her?

Don't all politicians grandstand? They are all cut from the same cloth. Trump spent a lot of time grandstanding with his daily corona virus briefings for over a month. The only difference between Trump and Hogan is that Hogan can't be politically hurt at this point. He can't run for re-election. Unless you believe he is setting himself up for a presidential run in the future. If so, he should really think about that. He stands little chance of winning a republican primary. If he goes for a Maryland senate run, he stands little chance of beating either Van Hollen or Cardin. So his political career ends when his term is up. Trump, on the other hand, has an election coming up in November. His political career will either end in November, or continue for another 4 years. His fate depends on about 10 swing states and the independents in those states.

I have said before that when Trump was a Dem, hobnobbed, and all with dem, that he saw the crap of it all, and switched the party he was attending. It is too soon to tell, but I hope Trump is the man he says he is, and not one of Dem. God bless America.
Yes, Trump was a die hard liberal at one time. There are youtube videos of him saying that he supports abortion rights, hates guns, and supports amnesty for all illegal immigrants. He was far from a conservative. Did he change his views, or was it convenient to do so to achieve his goal of being President? I really don't know. But I will always be a little less trusting of a man who can change his convictions on some basic things that easily. What would stop him from changing them back?
I was a liberal too, until I got out into the real world and saw that they(we) were a bunch of kooks. My epiphany happened young. Shortly after high school graduation. I give Trump the benefit of the doubt and believe it just took him longer to realize that liberalism is a ****ed up ideology. He was spoiled and pampered and liked running with the party crowd. When he finally stepped back and evaluated the two ideologies, he realized the errors of his ways. I never, ever, watched one of his TV shows because I despised the man that much.Yes, Trump was a die hard liberal at one time.
