UNC Student Body President found fatally shot

I just read this today and was deeply saddened. Having moved from the Durham/Chapel Hill area to the Park myself, I found that this type of violence had become an everyday occurrence down there, mostly in Durham. The disparity between socio-economic classes at the universities and the community has had an adverse affect on both groups. Crack must be hard to get by these days, it's the only logical reason for such heinous crimes to be committed.

College campuses seem to be getting more and more dangerous. A similar situation occurred near the campus of Auburn two days ago:
