From what I heard in the news, assassination is the correct term for this.

These sort of events are cyclical. There were a bunch of assassinations & attempts in the 1960s through the 1980s. Then those stopped but plane hijackings picked up. LE put a stop to the hijacks mostly. Then radicals blowing up things was the new craze. While that still happens, it appears it's not as frequent as in the past. Kidnappings were taking place on both the economic & political arenas. You don't hear much on this except for Venezuela for financial reasons. People started doing the fake swat calls on their enemies. That has calmed down or they aren't reporting on those events like before.

And now we have come full circle back to assassinations. 2 attempts on Trump. Prior to that the Bernie bro shot up the congressional baseball game. Now some HMO CEO. No telling if this is a new pattern or a 1 off event.

Cant imagine why someone might be pissed enough to do this. Not right, and my hassles never rose to those levels, but if you were to play those games with someone mother perhaps, and meds that are keeping her from real pain......I can see it.

I've had United for over 8 yrs, have never had an issue with them.
