:yeahthat: I had looked at them several years ago. They are very, very expen$ive. There are much better choices out there.

"Fill your hands you SOB!
$1360 per 3 credit hour class!!!!

What appealed to me was that each class was only 5 weeks (minimum 4 nights a week) long and you can start anytime (don't have to wait for the "next" semester).

My job offers tuition reimbursment at 100%, so the cost doesn't faze me...anyone taken their classes?

I'm currently pursuing my Master's in IT at AIU. It's a 10 month program with less emphasis on "group" projects and more flexible attendance requirements. So far it has been fine.

When I was checking them out I found that they are a preferred educator for Lockheed Martin (who is about to lay me off, possibly, but that's another thread) and I also found out that they are as well accredited as Duke.

I tried U of P once, but dropped it after just one course because it was taking up too much time in the evenings, and I have to be a Daddy while these little girls are young. That's one thing that can't be put off.

I'd rather have all my shoes taken away and have to watch someone else wear them than take another on-line class.

I disagree about their being accredited. I needed some additional credits for my job and thought an online class would be the best approach timewise. That's when I discovered the majority of online schools are not accepted. I believe the University of Phoenix was also warned by FCC about misleading ads.

Sure looks like they are accredited to me  But I agree that there are a lot of on-line programs that are NOT accredited.

I personally would look at UMUC. I know they have completely on-line degree programs now, are fully accredited, and are highly rated. :yay:

I've taken classes with UoP and UMUC- and UMUC is a better program (IMO)- and classes usually cost less if you are a MD resident (in-state tuition.)

I took some classes here online and some at the campus for my degree. I enjoyed the classes online and they were half of what U of P wanted. They show up on the transcript just as on campus courses, no asteric, no notes identifying them as online. The college is accredited.
