Sure looks like they are accredited to me But I agree that there are a lot of on-line programs that are NOT accredited.waupaca said:I disagree about their being accredited. Hmmm...The Apollo Group Inc. won a victory last year when a court dismissed a false claims lawsuit. But Apollo, the owner of the University of Phoenix, also paid $9.8 million to settle charges by the U.S. Department of Education, without admitting guilt.
I've taken classes with UoP and UMUC- and UMUC is a better program (IMO)- and classes usually cost less if you are a MD resident (in-state tuition.)jazz lady said:I personally would look at UMUC. I know they have completely on-line degree programs now, are fully accredited, and are highly rated.
