CALIFORNIA --- A report from another bus driver about the school bus wreck this morning at the intersection of Rt. 235 and Chancellors Run Road reveals that the bus driver had just finished dropping off her students at Green Holly School on Millstone Landing Road and was turning from Rt. 235 onto Chancellors Run when her gas pedal stuck with her bus then vaulting across the median strip, over a curb and into the Sheetz gas station where the bus hit a pump. The manager of the Sheetz quickly cut off the pumps and Bay District Volunteers were on the scene in minutes. The bus driver was injured but no kids were on board, however some children may have been nearby and gathered to watch the scene, causing an early report from fire and rescue to indicate that there were students on the bus when there actually were not.
