I thought the Post columnist's proposed response was funny. Don't know if he actually sent it...

Richard Leiby:...here’s an email from a big fan of the column in Harrisburg, Va. He sent it to our Ombudsman, Mike Getler:
“The Richard Leiby column of Tuesday, May 18 is too disgusting for comment. Leiby devotes his main story to sniggering and leering about a dress that was allegedly revealing of Alexandra Kerry's breasts; and quoting the sniggering and leering comments of some prudes and letches--cognoscenti whose minds encompass prudery together with lechery; and running a photo that is made to look X-rated purely by the prim little bar you placed across her cleavage. It's an entire column devoid of any substance (like about the film that brought Ms. Kerry to the Cannes festival, frinstance). I guess the Style editors have decided substance (not to mention good taste) are not the ways to pander to the markets? And that feminism and Political Correctness are out, so the Dark Ages are back in, with a vengeance?”
Leiby responds: Sir, please let me just point out, as I did to Mr. Getler, that I vehemently opposed placing that prim bar of black tape over Alexandra Kerry’s breasts. I fully support transparency in government, and in journalism, and I have long opposed the airbrushing of nipples from the Victoria’s Secret catalog.
