(SALISBURY, MD) – Police have identified the suspect believed to be responsible for fatally stabbing a man last night in Wicomico County.
The suspect is identified as Cobey Mishler, 18, of Salisbury. Mishler is wanted for murder. Mishler is 5’10”, 110lbs. with brown hair and a medium build.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding his whereabouts, to contact the Salisbury Barrack at 410-749-3101. Callers can remain anonymous.
The victim, identified as Seth Abbey, 18, of Salisbury, was found in a parking lot in the 1000 block of Beaglin Park Drive in Salisbury shortly after 10:00 p.m. last night with apparent stab wounds. He was transported to the Peninsula Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased by hospital personnel. Investigators await autopsy results to determine cause and manner of death.
Investigators from the Maryland State Police Homicide Unit worked with the Wicomico County State’s Attorney to obtain an arrest warrant for Mishler. The investigation and the search continues…
