If you know kids between the ages of 18-25. Look at then good. They may not be hitting the weed but how about Oxycontin, percoset etc.... I cant tell you in the last 2 months how many I am running in to ss part of some sort of criminal conduct were they idenfify themselves a having a habit or they know some one who is hooked. I am starting to think every one is hooked.

Clear out your medicne chests for old prescritpion not being used or someone will use them or sell them. Prescription drug story...saw it here first. I bet alot of this activity will tie into Burglaries and B&E to cars that we have read so much about. Guy Vivian Butler was just the extreme case. 3K dollar a day crack habit. Thats a lot of buglarizing to do.

Legalize it all and watch the price drop and the crime to get the cash to afford high prices will drop with it.

I doubt it. People who do drugs don't care if they are legal or not and people who don't are not likely to start.

I wholeheartedly agree. :yay:

But I say legalize it all.

Pay some of these almost bankrupt farmers to grow marijuana or ???. Use some of the bankrupt, deserted town factories to manufacture and package.

Create Jobs, tax the hell out of it and let the druggies kill themselves if they want to.

Question. Running them to ss, what is that Social Services? Why are you running them to Social Services if they are over 18? 18 to 25 is not a kid.

Pardon my bad spelling. Should have read :
"running in to them as part of some sort of violation"

Just had another one last night. 23 and is taking Percoset every 2 hours for his "back pain". Now I know we all have back pain. I asked him if he had surgery? surely that would explain the pain....No he just told me he had and MRI and the doctor diagnosed him with pain in his lower back....Really?
He offered that he has worked hard since 17 building houses....OK. He walked in to the store when we were done and not the slightest sign of injury. I guess I would expect that kind of pain management program for a person laid up with a broken leg or something...that's just me.

Ok I understand now. Seems the doctors overprescribe this stuff and then the person doesn't want to stop taking them and that's what gets the cycle started.

It is legal. But people still are becoming addicted to the perscription drugs...so I guess your theory isn't so correct.

Saying let druggies take drugs until they die sounds great until you find out that your husband, wife, or kids are the druggies.

There are so many factors coming into the Formula for making a druggie.

Some people are less capable of handling pain without drugs, many are prone to addiction, many have an addictive personality, Some may feel that with drugs they should feel no pain at all. Once these people are hooked ,they will look for other drugs.
So many incliding many in the forum feel they can use drugs casually and not get hooked. They forget that many Doctors have gotten hooked because they too thought they were smarter than their addiction. The easier drugs are to get, the more people will become junkies. Some after using prescription drugs, some who tried to use drugs for pleasure.

Wherever you find an abundance of Junkies you will find an easy source for the drugs.
