This little girl needs as many prayers as possible. This is from a friend of ours in Cleveland TN.
Would appreciate it if you would keep her and her family
In your prayers...It is definitely a tough time for them right
now.

"Hello to everyone, hope your doing well. I have a personal
Favor to ask of you, (knowing your praying people)
IVORY is 7 years old and this week she was riding her go
Cart WITHOUT A HELMET, and lost control landing her under a
Neighbors double wide that didn't have any skirting.
She was stopped by the floor and support beam by her NECK.
She slashed her neck from her ear to her larynx,cutting her
thyroid, her artery was torn s lightly causing the blood to drain
into her lungs, which then collapsed, she broke her neck, & broke
her back. She was air lifted to MUSC , she has had 1 operation on her
lower back and they found her spinal cord to be totally cut.
They have to wait for 2 weeks to operate on her larynx,
Thyroid and neck. Not knowing until then if her spinal cord is
torn at the neck... which will tell to what extent she will be
paralyzed.
This little girl is only seven years old and has her whole
Life to live. I ask you to lift her up to God in prayer.

And if you wouldn't mind adding her to your Church prayer
chain, we all know what God can do when we only have Faith and
come together in unity . I have added an attachment of Ivory,
she is the little girl to the left, and then one of her in the Hospital,
she
is such a pretty little girl, this accident just breaks my heart.

I would be careful about such a claim.

They do not need people in Maryland to pray for her in TN, link HERE. The rightful prayer of one (1) person is enough.

And what would we pray for? The girl is in the hospital and the operation is done now.

And did the family do any repentance? like repentance is to comes before forgiveness.

Did they throw away that demon go-cart? or is the go-cart still in use? Did they sell the dangerous contraption to some unsuspecting stranger so it might hurt another child? or is the go-cart waiting for the girl to get released from the Hospital and this time she will be told to wear a helmet? and is this the first time such an accident has happened there? do they now have motor-cycles for the children for after they outgrow the go carts?

Those are important aspects because if there is no repentance then there is no forgiveness so it matters if we are being asked to pray for unrepentant sinners to continue or not.

If after prayers the people start hinting for cash assistance for the child then be certain to ask these questions.

They aren't asking for money. But I've seen the ones you are asking about.

What are we praying for? God's will to be done in this situation. However HE sees fit to handle this crisis.

And I'm not sure what you mean by forgiveness. Forgiveness for what? Not watching the child more closely?

If the family is going to put the girl back onto the go-cart then it is all vain.

Is the family religious? or what denomination? like pray to Allah or Jehovah or Jesus the Christ or to what God?

Did the family call their religious group and ask for an "elder" to pray over the girl? did anyone "confess their faults" as I said for repentance or as you quote James 5:16 above?

I don't think the girl should suffer because her family may or may not have any beliefs, whether they differ from ours or not. The power of prayer is very effective. I guess it all boils down to whether or not you believe she could be healed.

I know the person who asked for prayer for Ivory. I know she exists, what she looks like (before her accident and what she looks like in her hospital bed with so much paraphanalia on her it's heartbreaking) and I am asking for prayer to comfort and sustain her family in their time of need. If you choose not to pray for them then don't but I am not turning this sweet child's tragedy into a debate.

I asked for an update from my friend Chris but he has not gotten back with me yet. As soon as I get more word I will let you know. I do appreciate the prayers that are going on for her. The condition is still listed as critical for her and the chance for paralysis is high. Other than that I don't know anything else. God bless you.
