Urine Smell?

Reminds me...

Teach him how to piss outside :yay: Or you could contact Bruce Almighty and teach him to use the crapper.

...of a joke;

A colonel in the army reprimands a marine for heading out of the can without washing his hands. "In the army, son, we're taught to wash our hands."

And the marine said...go ahead, smooth...

What's your recommendation for removing dog urine odor?

If you don't have any luck training your dog to go in the toilet, as Smooth recommended, go to Petsmart and find a good enzymatic odor eliminator. Nature's Miracle is good, and I believe Out is good as well. Most times you have to soak the carpet and then cover it with a sheet of plastic for a day or two.

Trap a skunk, and very gently carry it so it's butt is near the odor. Then crash some cymbals together while yelling at the skunk.

I promise you'll never smell the urine again.

Rug Doctor's Odor Remover I've found to be the best. You can find it at Safeway among other places. Zep's Pet Stain remover is the best I've found for getting out spots and pretty good for getting out oder. You can find Zep at Home Depot.

urine smell

I had a diva cat that got upset when we bought a new puppy. She decided to pee on everything. We used natures miracle on the furniture and just soaked it and then covered it in plastic until it dried and then did it again. Everything else we had to replace. I had seen an ad for Urine Gone and I bought it just to see if it would work - it does. Really well. It took all the smell out of the furniture. My parents have a male Yorkie and I have two female dogs. The male does the pee on everything I can reach trick and I use the Urine Gone when they leave to cover the mini alfa male. It really does work. I think you can get it at Bed, Bath and Beyond also.

PS Gave the cat to a really good family because we couldnt control the pitty pees. She is so happpy now and spoiled like she should be.

Anti Icky Poo (sp?) - I've never used the product but I read about it online and the name stuck with me. One of the testimonials said it saved some people from having to replace the subflooring in a house they were remodeling, after nothing else did the trick. Also, I think they were battling cat urine odor which is worse than dog urine. -Sherry
