USAA mortgage refinance

USAA is the best for banking, insurance, brokerage, car loans - but grab your skirts and run for the hills if you want to refinance with them!!!!! They outsource their mortgage services to a place called "The Processing Center". We have had major problems with them. Before you do anything with USAA mortgage do a search on it and you'll see the complaints. If you want an awesome bank do a search on USAA and you'll see the difference.

Good to know...We have an auto loan with USAA, life insurance, car insurance, credit card and homeowners insurance. We're considering banking with them because Bank of America has too many service fees.

The comments I read online about the banking system were mixed. We have concerns about the number of withdraws you can make each month & if you're charged for using your debit card after so many uses. Any info you can share on their banking (checking & savings) services and your expereince is appreciated.

I don't have any info on USAA Banking services, I only use their auto & homeowners insurances.

Look into local Credit Unions in the area. They do have membership requirements, but you might find one you qualify to join. CU's usually have no or lower fees than banks.

I've use CPFCU for the 5 years I've lived here and I'm very happy with them. I used them 20+ years ago and then moved away from MD. I knew I was moving back, so I re-joined because I was always happy with their services.
