Used Power Supply For HP Laptop

Ok, my puppy has this fascination with chewing cords. I've replaced my laptop cord once with a spare. I can get a generic power supply on ebay but would prefer a genuine HP power supply. My question is, does anybody know of a source for used but still functioning power supply's ? I'm thinking that when the laptop goes bad, maybe someone keeps the power supply, just in case. I don't know, worth a shot.:shrug:

Smartco might have one. Normally they receive donations and donate to others, but it doesn't hurt to ask. They are behind the gymnastic center on FDR Blvd, by the well pet clinic.

This is important, because not only will you get the right voltage/wattage, but the correct plug into the laptop as well. HP used a few different sizes and styles.
