Anyone have this procedure done or know someone that has? I'm still waiting on a follow up to a sonogram but I've been told this is an option. I have 3 fibroids that are bigger than golf balls.

Good luck to you! Are the fibroids painful? I do know about the procedure, but never had it done. You may end up not having a period anymore if I am correct. Well wishes.

I know you can still have children after that procedure.

To the OP, there is a longer thread in this section (I think) about fibroids. Do a quick search, and maybe someone mentioned the procedure in that thread

I'm 46 and never had kids. Never wanted any. The fibroids are becoming painful. One is pushing on my bladder and they are giving me lower back pain. I've been on a BC pill to stop my periods since they were getting bad. Worked for a while buy now I'm bleeding thru them now.

Had this done. It was wonderful. Stopped my issues for nearly three years. No pain, no problems, no periods. Only problem is that after they did it once it cannot be done again. Not sure if that would be the same result for everyone.
