Protect the ones you love! Maryland law requires that all dogs, cats, and ferrets are vaccinated for rabies. Bring your pet to a free rabies clinic on Sunday, October 23, from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. at Newburg Volunteer Rescue Squad and Fire Department located at 12215 Rock Point Road. The clinic is sponsored by the volunteers of the Charles County Animal Response Team, Charles County Animal Control, and the Charles County Department of Health.
Dog licenses will also be available. The fee for a dog license is $2 if your animal is altered; $15 is your animal is not altered.
All dogs must be leashed. All cats and ferrets must be contained in a carrier.
