I was reading the other day about language and what is good and bad about words that are thought of to be coarse and unacceptable in polite society.
I have thought a lot about it and my not being an educated scholar or particularly adept in language I have tried to come up with a better word than Bullshit. IMO one doesn't exist. When the word is used we all know the meaning. What other word is there that expresses in a polite way, what the word Bullshit expresses, and that would be understood by the vast majority of people who now know the meaning of this so meaningful word.


And Vance was right, when you kill free speech all other freedoms will not be far behind.

I've never even come close to believing that - I always likened them to the "cool kids" in high school who thought they were better than everyone else, but every one of them was just embarassing event to be kicked out of "the club" - they were simply pathetic egotists.

Thye've thought they're "better" than Americans since the colonies were formed.

And their condescension is identical to the kind urban Dems have for the rest of the country. They only call it "flyover" because they wouldn't be caught dead actually going there.
