I live on the south side of Fishing Creek (Chesapeake Beach) and just found out that Verizon DSL is finally available!! I have digital and connect to the internet through GMP and although I have not had many problems with the actual cable and internet access itself, GMP's customer service and price structure truly suck. I will be switching to Dish and Verizon asap.
