In My Opinion
The Hi Def box in my living room stopped working a few days ago, so I figured I would call Verizon and have them send me a new one. When I went on line to find their service number I discovered a place on their site that you can push a button that tells them your tv equipment is not working, and it ran a test.
Came back and told me that the Hi Def box in the living room was not operating properly.
Click next and it starts reprogramming the box automatically. 5 minutes later, box is working again.
did not have to talk to anyone, push something for english or wait for a new box to arrive.
Back when I had Comcast this was not an option, It might be now, I have no clue. But I will also say that this is the first time in about 6 or 7 years that there has been any service drop with Verizon.
