Anyone else experiencing calls not being connected because of service facility problems?

My daycare provider was without a phone for about a week in a half. Not sure what the problem ended up being. Another parent siad they had had problems as well.

Yes! Especially when it rains or the wind blows the wrong way. After a few months of this, they have finally decided to come look at the lines tomorrow.

when i lived in compton anytime it rained the phone would be dead for a week at a time... it took verizon 6 months to fix it.

I found out what the issue was..I was trying to call long distance to my family in va and they were the ones getting their home phone lines fixed...they are hooked up through cox communications...so they have phone, internet, and tv through them...so when something goes to chit they have to get the cox man to come and take a look see...so everything is good...
