I seem to recal awhile back reading in the old testament a verse something to the effect that the spirt world, or that spirits walk amoungst us, but that our eyes our vailed to it for our own protection. I ve gone crazy looking for this verse and even tried to Google it up. I would have thought this would have been mentioned in the old testament where it warns against mediums.

Does anyone have any idea if this is in the bible and where, or where I might have read this?

Here is one against consulting spiritualists.

Leviticus 20:6 'As for the person who turns to mediums and to spiritists, to play the harlot after them, I will also set My face against that person and will cut him off from among his people.

Here is something from Mark about unclean spirits being here on earth.

Mark 1:26-28

26Throwing him into convulsions, the unclean spirit cried out with a loud voice and came out of him.

27They were all amazed, so that they debated among themselves, saying, "What is this? A new teaching with authority! He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him."

28Immediately the news about Him spread everywhere into all the surrounding district of Galilee.

Angels had relations with women. Must have been here on earth.

Genesis 6:1-4

1Now it came about, when men began to multiply on the face of the land, and daughters were born to them,

2that the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves, whomever they chose.

3Then the LORD said, "My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, because he also is flesh; nevertheless his days shall be one hundred and twenty years."

4The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.

Job starts out with satan saying he has just got back from roaming the earth.

Job 1:6-7

6Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them.

7The LORD said to Satan, "From where do you come?" Then Satan answered the LORD and said, "From roaming about on the earth and walking around on it."

Ephesians tells us to put on the full armor of God because our fight is not against men.

Ephesians 6:10-12

10Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might.

11Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.

12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

And then there is:

2 Kings 6:15-18

15Now when the attendant of the man of God had risen early and gone out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was circling the city. And his servant said to him, "Alas, my master! What shall we do?"

16So he answered, "Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them."

17Then Elisha prayed and said, "O LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see " And the LORD opened the servant's eyes and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

18When they came down to him, Elisha prayed to the LORD and said, "Strike this people with blindness, I pray." So He struck them with blindness according to the word of Elisha.

The Gospels are full of Jesus casting out evil spirits while here.
