Vet for My Kitties

Hi! I have 3 cats that I love and adore. I moved to Lusby in October. I really need to find a vet down here....I tried the one in Lexington Park on 235.....I wasnt happy. I think it might have just been the particular Vet I had and not the clinic itself, but the technician had to guide the Vet in how to handle my cat -- (we had just rescused him, he had claws and was very scared). The vet just really seemed to have no idea what she was doing, so I'm a little nervous to go back there. So, I'm looking for vet recommendations....it's very important for me to have a good vet that knows what they are doing....One of my cats is on a prescription diet due to a UTI that turned into a blockage (the vet I had him at (out of state) never followed up on his UTI correctly.....he almost died and it cost me 2 grand to save him at another vet clinic...so this is why I need a good vet!)
Thank you!!!!

Thank you! How many vets do they have on staff? Is there one in particular you would recommend?

From the website:

Dr. Nancy E. Ball, owner, is a 1983 graduate of the Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Ball has practiced in Southern Maryland since graduation.

Her animal family includes 2 cats, a dog, and a "socially challenged" ferret. Dr. Ball's areas of interest are dermatology, gastrointestinal disease and endoscopy

Dr. Jodi Edwards is a 2003 graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Edwards joined our practice after graduation. Her areas of interest include ultrasonography, internal medicine and dermatology.

She is the proud "mom" of two dogs, a herd of cats

It's been awhile since any of my pets have seen Dr Ball so I'm more familar with Dr Edwards and she is great!!
