Looking for a vet who is good with Big Dogs. I have a Cane Corso who DOES NOT like going to the vet. Took him a couple of weeks ago just to get his nails clipped and the vet I took him to was not good, also happens to be his regular vet. He was so worked up that I had to tell them to stop. You would think seeing him with bloodshot eyes and snapping at everyone they would say Hey lets stop, but they didnt. Then the Doc said that he bit her, and I know he didnt because I was standing right there. I refuse to take him back there.

I take my oh so scared of everything, to All kinds.

They are magical with her. Last time I had her there, they sat on the floor until she finally worked up the nerve to go over for all the treats.

I have a cat that is such a sweetie, but HATES the Vets. We have to sedate her before we go.

Though I don't have her # here, you can do a search for Dr Darnell, who makes house calls.

All Kinds in Calloway. Dr Adam easily rammed his hand in the nether regions of my then 180 lb plus wussy dog and down his throat without so much as blinking an eye and the dog was happy with him and trusted him very much and didn't even whine. I had taken a muzzle, just in case, and Dr Adam didn't make me muzzle him. Since then I totally love this man and take my little guys there too.

I have Dr. Darnell's number, she's our vet and visits for our 2 boxers....she's great !! Her number is 443-975-2495. Website is darnellsmobilevet.com

In house visits might make your big guy more at ease !!! and she's great with our dogs !!

A little late, but All Kinds also makes house calls but it's about $55 extra. Dr. Adam came out to see two of our dogs who are a bit of a pain to get to the vet.

I can't praise them enough.. we've seen both Dr. Adam (house call) and Dr. Shad (emergency vet visit) One of my dogs passed last summer from a misdiagnosis when she simply had whipworms. If I had stuck with my other vet, I'm sure two more of my dogs wouldn't be here today.
