ANNAPOLIS, MD—Governor Larry Hogan today visited Maryland’s newest mass vaccination sites in Prince George’s County and Montgomery County. A total of nine mass vaccination sites are now open and fully operational across the state, with four additional sites to open by the end of this month.
The new mass vaccination site in Prince George’s County, which is located at the Greenbelt Metro Station, was launched in partnership with FEMA and has the capacity to administer up to 3,000 shots per day. The site will primarily serve Prince Georgians in underserved zip codes identified by the Maryland Vaccine Equity Task Force.
Montgomery County’s mass vaccination site is located at the Germantown campus of Montgomery College and has the capacity to administer thousands of shots per day.
On Monday, Governor Hogan announced that all Marylanders age 16 and older are now eligible to get vaccinated at any of the state’s mass vaccination sites.
