Shocking video of Range Rover crashing through bikers after they surround the vehicle during annual street ride | Mail Online


Video has emerged showing the shocking moment a Range Rover driver apparently drove through a crowd of motorbikes as it fled with its family inside for fear of being attacked.

According to police, the bikers started to damage the vehicle after the driver accidentally hit a motorcyclist.

Fearing for the safety of his wife and young child, aged under five, the SUV driver then sped off, hitting several bikers in its path.

In My Opinion
That right there is one of those moments that conceal carry would have been good for the guy in the SUV.

How so? The first 'blow', from what we see, is the RR guy running into the back of a bike. Everything blows up from there.

What normally happens when you stick you hand in a hornets nest?

We can postulate all sorts of things about this but, if you have your wife and kid to protect, bumping into the rear of a bike is a bad idea. Worse, exponentially worse, if there is a bunch of them.

RR man didn't have the self control to slow down, let the bikes go on their way. So, once stirred up, the gang is supposed to be reasonable?

Seems to me that RR guy already has self control and judgment issues. Pretty much the poster boy for the Brady Bunch.

Did you actually watch the video?
the the ass on the motorcycle pulled in front of the SUV, and not only slowed down on purpose, but looked back at him as he did it.
betting that the guy in the SUV was driving and refused to change lanes to let the rice rockets fly past him, and the guy on the bike wanted to be brave. Give him some of his own medicine?
then when it backfired on the ass on the bike, the rest swarmed in like a pack of rabid dogs.

just as soon as I realized they were chasing me, I would have done my best to knock over the bikes in the front, causing a blockage for those in the back to make a clean get away.
Im brave, but not stupid and in this instance the only weapon the SUV driver had to try and fight off the gang of ass holes, was in fact, his larger and heavier vehicle.

This is what I saw. He made damn sure he was right in front of the LR, then got on the brakes. Cant be sure if the LR driver bumped him on purpose, he simply didn't anticipate the move at all and was caught by surprise.

In any case, I cant blame the LR driver for not sticking, but his head-work was for crap. His door was actually still unlocked? Idiot. And why he didn't just head for the nearest cop shop, or even just get on the damn highway.

Bikers terrorize family in high-speed chase | New York Post

A motorist with his wife and baby daughter in his SUV was terrorized, chased down and assaulted by a gang of several dozen motorcyclists in a harrowing incident that began on the West Side Highway Sunday, police sources said.
The bikers were speeding and driving erratically in the northbound lanes when the 33-year-old Manhattan man called 911 to report them about 1:30 p.m.
The bikers then surrounded the man’s dark-colored Range Rover while it was heading north near 125th Street in Harlem, according to video captured by a camera apparently attached to a biker’s helmet.
One biker then pulled directly in front and slowed down, forcing the SUV to stop, and the others converged on the Range Rover, laying their bikes down on the pavement to block the vehicle.
The panicked dad then gunned the engine and ran over several bikes before speeding off with the pack in hot pursuit, police sources said Monday.

Yeah, and it seems you did too but, whatever planet you come from, striking the first blow apparently isn't starting the fight?

You seem convinced that the riders started this all and, instead of riding on, out of the blue, one chose to pick on this poor guy and brake check him.

If you're not stupid, the RR guy, clearly, is. He put his wife and his kid, not to mention himself, at risk by running into the bike. And, especially so of the riders were a back of rabid dogs.

Why isn't this clear to you?

Nope, if a biker, as part of a gang is trying to brake check you there can only be one purpose, and it's not to hand you a winning lottery ticket.

If an unprotected biker is willing to brake in front of you to slow you down and stop you, you're in for an ass whoopin are an old fashioned killin if you stop..

Should of ran the dumbass down.. at the first sign of a threat.

I'd put my life in the hand of a jury, before I put my families lives in the hands of a bike gang.

Biker was stupid. Got right in front of a big ass truck and, not sure he braked, might have just took his hand off the throttle. That would do it. Driver was stupid for not slowing and letting those idiots get out ahead of him. All in all I'd say truck won.

It's getting better. Sounds like RR man, as per bobs suggestion, could have put his wife and kids safety first and foremost well before this incident. He may well have even had a role in instigating it.

bob, I suspect you'd have never gotten close to being cornered by a bunch of bikers. As I say, interesting reports coming out that are looking pretty good for my contention that RR man wasn't exactly thinking about the wife and kid.

You keep referncing these "reports", but never link them......... because perhaps the only source for this info is the bikers themselves?
