Only to someone who ignores the heart of the reason they are leaving their country.
Is it the responsibility of the United States to solve their problems? Is it the responsibility of the United States to absorb the folks who "want to" leave there to come here illegally?

What exactly is your point? I mean, why is their "want to" my concern?

It is also a recognized fact that they gun nutters come out...

They stomp and they scream that some one is going to infringe upon their right to own weapons that serve no purpose other than to kill as many people as quickly as possible.

Since you didn't bother to read the AP report (it wasn't that hard to find...it was linked in the article you posted....but you just wouldn't be you if you ACTUALLY read something)...here is what it said:

So, gun nutter, would you care to explain why you think average everyday citizens should possess silencers? "high capacity" magazines? Or why average everyday citizens should be able to carry a gun in a city (i.e. government) building???
Shut the hell up, dumb-ass.

So, you can see why people would want to flee those Central American countries at the top of the lists?
So, can you see why we would want to prevent them from coming here, with their desensitized attitude toward guns, violence, gangs, corrupt government officials, and socialism?

As Anti Gun Europe is Suppressors are common accessories sale authorized to anyone already holding a firearms license or no restrictions at all

  • In Norway, silencers are not regulated and can be purchased by anyone for any firearm. No licence or permits are necessary.[60]
  • In Denmark, the Danish Weapons And Explosives Law makes the unlicensed possession of a silencer illegal. As of 7 May 2014 it is legal to own and use silencers for hunting.[61]
  • In Finland, a firearm silencer is classified as a firearm part by law. Purchasing a suppressor requires a firearm ownership permit, which is to be shown to the vendor at the moment of purchase.[62]
  • Silencers for rimfire pistols are sold without government oversight in France.[32]
  • In the Russian Federation, using firearm silencers (legally defined as "devices for noiseless shooting") by civilians is prohibited, and the dealers are prohibited from selling them, but there is no penalty for purchasing or possession of such devices.[63]
  • In Sweden, silencers for specified calibers are legal for hunting purposes and a license is required.[27]:9
  • In the UK, the owner's firearm certificate (FAC) will need to show permission for the purchase of a "sound moderator" and also the firearm for which it is intended. All firearms certificates have the firearm and caliber approved by the police and annotated to the document before a silencer may be purchased. Applicants must show a "good reason" for needing the accessory.[64]
  • In Germany, a silencer is treated the same in the eyes of the law as the weapon it is designed for. Accordingly, suppressors for air guns, which can be purchased by anyone over 18 years of age, can as well be purchased by anyone over said age. Since, amongst other things, "good cause" must be shown to be issued a license to own a firearm in Germany, the same "good cause" requirement exists for suppressors for these firearms. This requirement is handled very varyingly across the States of Germany. The State of Bavaria accepts the possession of a valid hunter's license as "good cause" to own an unlimited number of suppressors, while North Rhine-Westphalia does not accept hunting as a "good cause" at all. Baden-Württemberg accepts "active exercise of hunting" as "good cause", but only allows the purchase of one silencer.[65]
  • In New Zealand, suppressors are not regulated and free for purchase by anyone.

  • reduces the noise others around your range are exposed to.
  • reduces the noise the shooter is exposed to.
(for the clueless like you, they don't 'silence' the gun, they just reduce the sound pressure level to a point where you may be able to shoot without additional hearing protection)

"high capacity" magazines?
What is 'high capacity'. For the most part what is being villified are the magazines that are standard issue for most modern firearms. 14-19 in most 9mm handguns, 20 or 30 for centerfire rifles.

Or why average everyday citizens should be able to carry a gun in a city (i.e. government) building???
Because you never know when you may need it.
