I was using the poison worms, and they seemed to be working. And then one day I came out to find all the worms pushed back up out of the hole. Pushed them back down, next day they were up.

Dammed moles.

The smoke bombs that you lite and stick down the hole work pretty well. They look like little sticks of dynamite. You can get them at tractor supply

Thank you. Gopher Gassers. I knew Greenery used to have them, didn't see them last few times I was there, but if Tractor Supply does, I'll stop by there today.

They do work the best.
