"NEW YORK (Reuters) — Wal-Mart (WMT) said Thursday that it is cutting prices :yahoo: on 15,000 more items this week as the world's largest retailer continues its push to boost sales heading into the holiday season.

The new round of price cuts follow the retailer's move Sept. 30 to begin cutting prices on hot toys. It said at the time that it would cut the price on different toys each week during October."

All I know is that I can't wait to by my 63" HDTV at Walmart for $500. :yahoo:

If it wasn't for Walmart, people like you that spell "buy" as "by" would never have the chance to own a $500 TV...

As much as I dislike them somedays, I have to admit they have raised your standard of living...

Speaking of TVs- don't forget analog broadcast signals will be off the air in 2009, so if you've been waiting to get a newer digital compatable TV this is the year to do it.

All the cheap skates can get a converter box...
