If you are a Mr. Cary Grant fan, you'll be yet again delighted with Walk Don't Run. :yay:

Through a chain of whimsical events, two men end up renting an apartment from a British gal living in Japan as there is a shortage of rentable stays during the '64 Tokyo Olympics. Grant, typically the ladies' man, plays cupid in this fun and funny film.

There really is no need for more plot summary; either you like whimsical or you don't care for it. I highly recommend it if you do. :yay:

Mine too!! :killingme But, "Bringing up Baby" is definitely up at the top! And I love "Charade" !
I have a few of them on VHS and a couple on CD. Can't remember which ones.

Oh my God, I remember this movie. I was watched it with my grandmother when I was five or six (so in 1995 or so). I should revisit it; it'd be nostalgic fun.

And, there is always "An Affair to Remember"....

I taught my niece, when she was 7ish, Debra Kerr's line, complete with dramatic hand gestures:

Terry McKay: Winter must be cold for those with no warm memories... (And we've already missed the spring!)
:lmao:

Now, some four years later, she'll improvise a scene and use it appropriately! :roflmao:

Also, I always got a kick at what a novelty pink champagne was in the movie for some reason...
