walking on red

I drive a flat bed truck in washington dc. i dont know how much time any of you spend in DC but it seems to me people have no value for life. People always walk when the light is red for them (on my green) i drive a big truck in a little space where the wrong move means life or death. I know if it were me on that corner and i see a Truck coming at me i wouldnt step of the curve but hey thats me not everyone thinks that way. just last week a man on a bike got killed trying to beat a boom truck in vienna V.A. Just something to think about

DC has its own rhythm...in an asymmetric time signature...and not always in time.
