I was born and raised in PG (Forestville), over 30 years ago let's say. It was such a nice, quiet, working class neighborhood back then where all of the kids could go out and ride their bikes, play all day, and never worry about shootings, robberies, and other assorted criminal activities. Times sure have changed.

I grew up in Hyattsville, Riggs Rd/East West Hwy area, but also lived in Landover and Riverdale at times. It was the same there.

OK... Maybe I didn't see it for it's true nature in the 70s but I rode my bike through there all the time when I was 12...15.

I'd hesitate to do the same in all but an armored car these days. :lmao:
