Up first, our active search for two burglary suspects who targeted three businesses in just 10 minutes on Tuesday morning. At approximately 3:55 am on July 16th, the suspects broke into a drugstore in the 7400 block of Annapolis Road and stole a cash register. About eight minutes later, in the 7500 block of Annapolis Road, they unsuccessfully tried to break into a grocery store. At 4:05 am, the suspects broke into a business in the 7900 block of Annapolis Road. In this case, they stole several items. The suspects were seen driving the pictured car. We have a good look at our next suspect this Wanted Wednesday – now we just need his name. He’s wanted in connection with a theft from a vehicle at a gas station on Riggs Road. The preliminary investigation reveals the suspect stole a book bag from a vehicle when the owner stepped inside to pay for gasoline. This theft occurred on June 26th at approximately 2:45 pm. We are also working to identify this suspect. He’s wanted for stealing several items from a business on Sargent Road on June 10th. The preliminary investigation reveals he walked out with several bottles of laundry detergent without paying for the items. Please call us with information on his identity. Detectives are working to arrest this suspect. He’s linked to a car break in on 56th Place on July 15th. The preliminary investigation reveals he stole tools from the vehicle. Please call 301-699-2601 and refer to case number 19-0041282.
And finally, our detectives are working to identify this suspect. The preliminary investigation reveals he used a credit card that had been stolen earlier from a car that was parked on Old Branch Avenue. The theft was on June 14th.
