We’re starting Wanted Wednesday this week with detectives looking to identify and arrest three suspects wanted for an assault at a fast food restaurant in Lanham. The preliminary investigation revealed the suspects assaulted employees at the business in the 8800 block of Greenbelt Road. This occurred on August 21, 2021. Do you recognize this suspect? We’d like to talk to him about a series of thefts at a cemetery in the 3400 block of Bladensburg Road in Brentwood. The preliminary investigation revealed he broke into a car there on August 21, 2021. Detectives believe this suspect is also responsible for several other thefts from vehicles at the cemetery in recent months. If you have info, please call 301-699-2601. Please never leave behind items of value in an unattended vehicle, no matter where you park or if you only plan to be away from your vehicle for short period of time. Thieves only need a few seconds to steal valuables from inside.
Detectives are also working to make an arrest in a theft in Capitol Heights. Preliminarily, detectives linked this suspect to a theft from a vehicle on August 18, 2021, in the 4500 block of Addison Road. Please call 301-772-4911 with any information.
