Playtex is recalling one of its new lines of Wonderbras because of a manufacturing problem, according to a published report.
A Scottish newspaper, The Scotsman, reported that Playtex received complaints from women who said the strap connecting the cups snapped as soon as they put the cleavage-enhancing bra on.
The bra, called the Deep Plunge Clearly Daring, went on sale last month.
The company, which decided to recall the bra as a precaution, said the snapping was caused by a “manufacturing fault” affecting a small number of products sent out in an early batch, according to the newspaper.
Another Playtex Wonderbra designed for women wearing revealing dresses, called the Deep Plunge Beyond Belief, is not affected.
