Just wondering if anyone know what happened to Home Impressions in Leonardtown? It's been a while since I've been there but didn't realize it was gone til we went to the tree lighting. Did they move or shut down all together? Thanks for the info.

Home Impressions is out of business. The owner decided that she wanted a change and now has a place that she rents out for special occassions. Too bad...It was one of my favorite places to shop! I also believe that Traditions of Loveville has also either gone out of business or perhaps is looking to. I saw a real estate ad in the paper for the business not too long ago. Shame...That was a great place too!

I believe the cost and time of running the place was just too time consuming. I absolutely loved it!!! I know that the building was up for rent at the time of their close out clearances... But, not knowing the owner(s) personally, I can't say for sure.

Thanks for the info. I loved that place too. Just didn't get to shop there as often as I would have liked. I like that little place at the intersection in Clements (forget the name). Small but cute stuff, along with Sassafrass and Apple Basket

Traditions in Loveville hasn't gone out of business. I was in the shop just two weeks ago & it didn't look like it was going to go out of business. But you never know. It is a great shop.

I know about a month or so ago, I saw an ad in the real estate section of the Enterprise that the building itself was for sale (Traditions). As for Home Impressions, they did have someone that was looking to take over the shop and just change the name but apparently the deal fell through at the last minute. They had an auction scheduled this month to sell off the remainder of the merchandise. I knew about this since they closed the second week in August.

If anyone of you are interested in the furnature that was for sale in that shop I can give you my fathers number. He was the one that made most of her furnature goods for the shop
