MedExpress Urgent care, when they couldn't treat, called around for a doc. Told WHC we were on our way, so they were ready for us. In and out in 3 hrs. They pulled a sliver of metal that had arrowed in behind the cornea.

Gotta ride back up there tomorrow for a follow up.

Now he's sporting a black eye patch. Argh.....

MedExpress Urgent care, when they couldn't treat, called around for a doc. Told WHC we were on our way, so they were ready for us. In and out in 3 hrs. They pulled a sliver of metal that had arrowed in behind the cornea.

Good to hear they were able to get it out. Whenever I work with grinders or chisels, I always reach for the safety goggles after my little mishap not too long ago.

Amen. Good on Med Express to get you to the right people and alert them.
I made one trip, by ambulance to WHC. I was in surgery that day and discharged by the weekend.
SMH ER had called up and they were ready.

First I've gotta catch up on my Easter dinner prep. Fish in the brine to be smoked, shrimp to cook and pickle, yellow jello to make. Good thing it's too cold to want to be gardening!

I'm still waiting for the flood waters to soak in. Two years ago i tilled it up and reseeded, adding topsoil to the low spots. They've settled again.
