Hi, odder.otter said:What make and model?? We had the same problem and had to get service where they replaced the main circuit board. If you know the make and model, you can look up the codes at the makers web site or download the manual.

Code IE This indicates a water level sensor problem. If the water sensor fails to send a signal for a period greater than 5 seconds, the code is activated.
You need to the on button. If no other buttons will operate
1. Check the wiring harness at the plugs
2. Check the pressure sensor switch
3. Check the program controller circuit board
You may need to call the service technician if you cannot locate any obvious faults.

hotmomma said:uhh, what? I'll have to call my brother. He will know what you are talking about. Thanks. I was trying to find information about my washer online but couldn't find anything. I'm sure ie means the same thing no matter what kind you have.
hotmomma said:Well, my husband called Best Buy and told them about the problem on the 13th. The guy told him that he couldn't help him unless the washer was having the problem at that time. He told him to clean the filter and call back if it happened again. Of course, Saturday night it happened again. Husband called Best Buy and they asked him what kind of detergent we are using (its a high efficiency washer). We use HE Tide. I also use Dreft to wash my daughters clothes. She is 7 months old and I wash her clothes once a week using Dreft. The girl told him that was the problem and it could void our warrenty because the washer should only use HE detergent. I hate when my husband tries to handle things. He never gets things accomplished. I want somone to come fix the darn washer. So I guess I'm suppose to go to the laundry mat to wash my daughters clothes. She has sensitive skin and I have had to take her to the dermatologist several times.
Anyways, I am babbling. Do you really think that the Dreft detergent is causing my washer to break? I use half a scoop once a week. I want the system replaced like Otter said, but it doesn't sound like thats gonna happen now.
