Waste Management in So. MD

Hey All,

Just moved to Charles County and I'm trying to figure out how to do utilities. I have the number for waste management. Unfortunately, they are only available 9-5 weekdays to speak with. I'm assuming they will tell me which days I can leave my trash out. I'm wondering if there are any special rules with this service such as:

- total amount they will pick up
- container requirements (I have a big green receptacle - does it all need to be inside this?)
- types of things they will take and not take ( glass, car batteries, tvs, etc?)
- how do you recycle; is it the same organization?

It kind of depends on where you are located. Maybe you can be a little more specific.

Waldorf, MD. I was thinking since it was the same organization, the rules were the same throughout So. MD.

I live in Waldorf. My pick up days are Mondays and Thursdays. Depends on location. Billed every 3 months. Must pay in advance plus a $10 set up fee. For an extra $1 a month they supply the trash can if needed. Good service.
