Like the title says.

I'm down with it. Fallout and others are supposed to be the "spiritual" descendants of Wasteland, so I'd like to try it.

I did try to install Wasteland today, but my late model machine ain't havin' it.

it is NOW on Steam

:buddies:

Have you played it yet? The price is freaking me out a little, and I don't know anything about Steam, except all the problems they had early on. Surprised they're still around. Is this an XP game, or Windows 7?

I despised Steam in the late 90's when it 1st came out
... as an Avid Half Life Player, I did not want another add on just to run HL

so I continued playing whatever the last NON Steam Version was until I found other games to play, I was hooked when Half Life II came out ...

... Steam is a very mature digital store now a days ...

even Games Like Eve Online are in the Steam Store ... I must have more than 500 Games .... almost 2 Tb ....

[I guess they still have issues, but mine are very few]

you basically create an account, purchase the game, download it and off you go ... there maybe some 1st run configuration, Dx updates, C++ Runtime libray updates ...

also you are paying more during the early access phase - to support development

Thanks, dude...appreciate it. I'm looking at buying a new desktop. This one has XP on it, and it's old enough that I'm not sure it would support Wasteland 2. Actually, I'm kind of between a rock and a brick wall on this. I need a new enough machine to support games like this, but then it would not play older games like early Fallout and older.
