Water Pressure

Can anyone tell me how to increase my household water pressure without installing a booster pump?

The problem is, I am preparing to reseed my lawn. Once it is done, I would like to be able to keep it watered. Only thing is, it is about 120 feet between the house and the road. By the time I get a sprinkler all the way out to the end, the pressure drops so much it just kind of trickles out.

We are on a well with a pressure tank in the basement. I thought I could bump up the pressure in the tank but it wouldn't take any more air.

No, I don't consider myself an idiot-I stated a fact and reseeding a lawn during a drought is fruitless, reseeding takes forever-it's recommended you sod it over and water the sod thoroughly for 6 or so weeks until it takes.

I did mine and it took 10 days. I used less then 2 hours (total for whole front lawn) of water a day for 7 days, and then watered as needed after that. Lawn was 4 inches high yesterday. Get a good starter fertilizer, water as needed where it is needed, and drink a beer.

If the pressure is OK at the house, and only drops off at the end of the hose, then your hose could be the issue. You need to find a large diameter hose with a smooth lining to minimize the loss. Coupling hoses together also drops the end pressure, so one long hose is better than 2 or 3 shorter ones. The valve at the house could be reducing your VOLUME (not pressure) as well.
