Christ! It seems like I just got all my accounts set up with my new card information from the last breach. Now I suppose it's time to get new cards for both my checking accounts again. This is why you only keep a month's worth of expense money in an account tied to a card. It's safer to keep the bulk of your funds in sub accounts and savings. At least with online banking, transfers can be initiated 24/7.

As President I would make it a priority to put the combined talents of the FBI, CIA and NSA to work finding hackers and those developing and deploying malware, spyware and other viruses for profit. At least that way we could stop them from spying on innocent citizens.

Second, I would declare such felonies an act of terrorism and have them shipped to GITMO, where the punishment would be 24/7 isolation for a period not less than one year. At which point they would volunteer to help the transgender community by participating in genital transplant experiments.

Which is why I would refocus their efforts on the real problem, a two for one, take out Biden and make cyber safe great again.

Yeah, but if they’ve been hacked and failed to inform anyone, who is to say the hack has been fixed?

well, I got a text from LifeLock that WaWa and FARCEBOOK had 267 MILLION accounts hacked.....Zucker??? any comments??

I think my last Cedar Point card was part of this Wawa leakage. I received a call asking if I was trying to purchase $250 worth of auto parts in Arkansas or somewhere out there. I say last, because the one before that one was charged by 1800flowers or something similar. I don't keep much of a balance in Cedar Point anymore and use my Navy Federal account almost exclusively. CPFCU I keep open for depositing personal checks I receive for side work. I wish NFCU had more branches locally. :ohwell:

Hmmm...I wonder if the call I got from NFCU about purchases on my credit card in Albuquerque and a small town just outside Chicago was a result of this? Account was locked, new card issued, fraudulent charges refunded.

Now that you've mentioned it, I think it may have been Albuquerque where my fraudulent charges originated. It was all so alien to me, that I was suspecting the caller was a scammer, up until the point that the card was frozen.

The Illinois town was Thornton. Lived in northern Illinois from early 96 - late 12, never heard of Thornton before this.

Especially the ones in compact cars that pull up to one of the few diesel pumps, then leave their car to go get food.
