I hope you take better care of that little pup, than you do with your rug rats.

Never said you weren't a great Mom. I hope you are.

But I hope you give that little puppy ten times the amount of attention you give them damn rug rats.

She is going to turn it over to the dog pound when it gets older. She will be one of the people on here wanting pitty for her dog because she has those two damn rugrats and they can't afford/have the time for/no room, or whatever her excuse will be, so she will be asking someone on here to take her puppy before the pound kills it. I am betting she will say something like the puppy has too much energy and she can't handle the dog and two rugrats at the same time!!

Aren't you a little bit rude. For one my kids are not rug rats! We can more than afford a dog and two kids.Considering how a bulldog doesn't need much room or exercise i think ill be ok. You should do our research first. Bulldogs are indoor dogs. You don't know me so you can't possible know what i can handle. You just want to start trouble. Grow up!

What a bunch of dinks, ignore them. Enjoy that sweet puppy, it's a shame they grow up even faster than the kids!!!!

I know. We got lucky though. So far she has not had any accidents and she is getting along with the kids. She loves my Hubby the most. She curls up around your neck to sleep. It's just so cute.

How cute - there is nothing any sweeter than a new puppies kisses; and when they fall asleep in your arms. Almost as great as holding a new baby. Nothing greater than when you walk in the door after a long day at work and that little gem is so happy to see you, tail a waggin and tons of kisses. I bet the kids are in heaven. What did you name her?

I wanna be a SMIB
If it becomes a problem, find the kids a good home.:lmao: I know the puppy will miss them but she will adjust.

She's adorable. We had an english bulldog years ago and she was a wonderful part of the family. She was not without her problems though. As she ages, watch the folds over her nose, pull them up and clean in between. It gets moist and irritated in there. Also, we had trouble with the folds over her eyes and had to have two eye-tucks done so she could see. She had problems with her short legs as she gained weight along with growths between her toes because of the pressure of her weight. And she got hot spots (not sure if these are just typical just with this breed??). These start as small red spots and quickly spread, especially in the heat, and leave a trail of raw and open wounds without skin. If you see a spot like this, take her to the vet asap. I don't mean to seem glum about this because for the most part they are like any other precious pup,
and you just need to be aware of different problems (although I'm sure your vet will keep you up on all these issues). Enjoy her. They're funny and so loving. Congrats.

Thanks. There are a lot of issues with english bull dogs. We read up on them before we got her. She is actually mix. I didnt know this but my hubby did. She has beagle in her too.She has the beagle ears and her face isnt as scrunched up. She is so cute. So far still no accidents. She chews alot but we got her kongs and ropes and that seems to help. She has taken to my hubby. She is the perfect dog!

She is precious! And her being mixed could be a blessing in disguise! She may not suffer with the issues that were mentioned before. But yes definitely read up on both breeds and be aware of any weird things that might pop up over the next 15 yrs. or so. Congrats!!! :huggy:
