To borrow from the tweet by Big Fish (@bigfish3000): "Justin Amash is running for Senate in Michigan."

One of his constituents and former campaign worker ain't havin' none of what he's peddling.

I just looked, and apparently, he did not gain re-election. Shocking, I tell you.

From wikipedia, and it may explain a few things:

Justin A. Amash[2] (/əˈmɑːʃ/ ə-MAHSH;[3] born April 18, 1980) is an American lawyer and politician who served as the U.S. representative for Michigan's 3rd congressional district from 2011 to 2021. He was the second Palestinian-American member of Congress.[a] Originally a Republican, Amash left the GOP and became an independent on July 4, 2019.[5] In April 2020, he joined the Libertarian Party, leaving Congress in January 2021 as the only Libertarian to serve in Congress.

Also from wikipedia, Amash lost to a Democrat.

The district is currently represented by Hillary Scholten, a member of the Democratic Party.

That could be how bad he was, and the optics of the smackdown Anna Timmer laid on him, or it could be the redistricting that took place a couple of years ago, that actually condensed the areas to include large towns, which tend to vote demonrat.
