THERE IS A CHANCE FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE AREA THIS
AFTERNOON AND THIS EVENING. A WARM FRONT WILL MOVE NORTH TODAY
ALLOWING WARMER AND MOIST AIR TO MOVE BACK INTO THE REGION. WINDS
ALOFT ARE VERY STRONG TODAY WHICH WILL HELP TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE
CHANCE FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS.

THE AREA MOST LIKELY TO SEE SEVERE WEATHER TODAY WILL BE ALONG AND
EAST OF THE INTERSTATE 95 CORRIDOR INCLUDING THE BALTIMORE AND
WASHINGTON METROPOLITAN AREAS. IN THIS AREA WHERE TEMPERATURES ARE
EXPECTED TO BE THE WARMEST THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF
PRODUCING STRONG DAMAGING WINDS AND LARGE HAIL. AN ISOLATED TORNADO
IS ALSO POSSIBLE IN THIS AREA. THE MOST LIKELY TIME FOR SEVERE
WEATHER TODAY WILL BE BETWEEN 4 AND 9 PM.

IN ADDITION...ISOLATED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING LARGE HAIL AND
POSSIBLY DAMAGING WINDS ARE POSSIBLE IN AREAS WEST OF THE INTERSTATE
95 CORRIDOR THIS AFTERNOON AND THIS EVENING.

The last time I saw fog this thick was in San Francisco.

FLOOD!

I just punched up the rain fall amount for lower Calvert...it was coming down at the rate of 3.4 inches /hour at Dowell Elem...I came home to a 700 gal pond in my yard. This was more concentrated rain than when the hurricane came through in September!

Hooray for sump pumps!
